
Dr Michelle White
Data Scientist
Biography:
Dr Michelle White is a Data Scientist at SADiLaR. With a background in child language acquisition, she is interested in understanding how children acquire language and how data-driven methods can shed light on this process. Her work encompasses instrument adaptation for under-researched languages, corpus creation of child language data, and empirical modelling of the impact of sociocultural factors on language outcomes. Her focus is on developing and applying quantitative and computational approaches to language data.
