Roald Eiselen is the Technical Manager at SADiLaR and has worked extensively on the development of text technologies for the South African languages. After completion of his undergraduate studies, he worked for Microsoft's Natural Language Group from 2006-2013. He returned to the NWU's Centre for Text Technology, as a lecturer in language technology, while also working on the development of taggers, corpora and services for making these technologies easily accessible to researchers. He was project leader of the Resource Management, a precursor to the activities of SADiLaR.
